The Raha Unit of the All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) today burnt the copies of the 129th Constitutional Amendment Bill at Raha Chariali to oppose the India-Bangladesh land-swap deal. According to AASU ,the bill, prepared to materialise the deal, was be introduced in the Rajya Sabha today. Once the bill becomes an act, India will transfer its 111 civilian enclaves on the Bangladesh side of the border to Bangladesh. In return, India will get 51 Bangladeshi civilian enclaves that are inside the Indian border.
