Centre’s peace deal with NSCN(IM) runs into a hail of opposition from a number of outfits from within Nagaland suggesting that it would have hardly any impact on the restive north eastern state.
NSCN (Khole-Kitovi) has made it plain and simple that it will never accept the peace deal in the state saying that the people will decide their political future by themselves.
Led by its chairman Khole Konyak and General Secretary N Kitovi Zhimomi have asserted that the people will not allow any outfit to sign any undignified deal with the Centre. They maintained that the Nagas cannot be sacrificed to fulfil the political aspiration of a handful of leaders.
The outfit issued the statement in the backdrop of the accord between the centre and the NSCN-IM in New
Delhi on August 3.
“The Nagaland Government was forced to smile and applaud while Naga Hoho had long sold its soul to the devil, with each member expecting a ticket to Heaven,” the outfit observed.
