Just framework for Nagas!

The Centre has just reached a framework with NSN-IM leadership to help the Nagas restore peace and development.

This was what Kiren Rijinu told reporters in Shillong on Friday. According to the Union minister of state for home, the Centre has understood the uniqueness of the Naga problem to be handled taking into consideration the desire and aspiration of the Nagas.

He said, “it is not a final accord . It is just a frame work. So, there is nothing to be disclosed about it.” He, however, was quick to add that it was clearly stated that they honour the constitution and the Centre will honour the Naga aspiration based on which the government will move forward.
