Clear doubts on Naga integration

Chief minister Tarun Gogoi on Monday questioned Narendra Modi's position on the integration of Naga dominated areas is part of the recent Naga peace framework.

Addressing a press conference in Guwahati, Gogoi said the prime minister disappointed the people of Assam who were waiting to hear his assurance of safety after the move to integrate the Naga inhabited areas.

Gogoi sought the prime minister's position after NSCN-IM Thuingaleng Muivah ruled out a solution without integration of Naga dominated areas of the north east.
