Homage to Kamalesh Joshi

Amid a pall of gloom hundreds of bereaved people in Tirap paid their last respect to Kamalesh Joshi after the lifeless deputy commissioner arrived in the district headquarters.

From ministers to officers, from school children to housewives in the district laid floral wreath at the mortal remains of Joshi who along with two others died when the Pawan Hans chopper carrying them crash landed at a dense jungle on way to Khunsa eight days back.

Joshi was a popular DC among the residents of Tirap district who joined the office in 2013. His decomposed body would be flown to his home on Thursday.
