CID to probe Louis Berger bribery

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has ordered CID probe into the Louis Berge scam where a foreign consultancy bribed a section of GMDA officials to get the contract of a multi crore water supply scheme.

Gogoi announced the CID probe hours after he faced flake from the Opposition on the assembly on Monday.

Earlier Gogoi asked additional chief secretary SC Das to look into the prime facie evidence, if any, in the allegation of bribery.
