Watergate: Prilm probe by SC Das

Additional chief secretary SC Das will do a preliminary probe in the Louis Berger allegations.
Disclosing this in Guwahati on Monday, chief minister Tarun Gogoi said his government is fully prepared to hand over the case to CBI on the basis of the of Das panel findings.
Gogoi’s statement assumes significance amid simmering demand for probe in the allegations that a section of ministers and GMDA officers in 2001 received bribe for awarding contract to US based company in water sewerage project.
