Paralyzing bandh in Tinsukia

Normal life comes to a grinding halt in Tinsukia district on Thursday following the 12 hour bandh in protest against the incident at Bijuliban where ULFA men shot dead a businessman and his daughter on Tuesday night.

Vehicles are off from the roads. Shops and markets, schools and colleges, banks and offices are remaining closed under the impact of the bandh called by the Bhujpuri students union.      

Security forces are patrolling on the streets to avert any untoward incident in the district during the bandh hours.
