SC wants more tribunals

The Supreme Court ordered 64 additional foreigners tribunals by August 10 to detect and deport the immigrants.

  A Division Bench of the apex court comprising Justice Ranjan Gogoi and Justice Rohington F Nariman on Tuesday directed the Gauhati High Court to set up 64 additional tribunals apart from 36 tribunals are functioning.

These tribunals would start functioning by August 10, the court directed.The court further asked the government to settle the pending cases within a time-frame.
