Security forces arrested a hardcore cadre of National Santhali Liberation Army (NSLA) today from Gopaljhora area under Bagribari police station in Kokrajhar district.
Acting in tiptop information about hiding of militants, a joint team of Assam Police and Army carried out a search operation this afternoon and able to arrest a NSLA cadre.
The cadre was identified as Sunil Hembrom.
A 9 mm pistol, four live ammunition, a mobile handset was recovered from his possession, a senior police officer said.
