Rampant corruption in the recent civil service examinations prominently figured in the discussion between Akhil Gogoi and governor PBAcharya on Saturday.
The KMSS leader strongly demanded immediate removal of APSC chairman Rakesh Paul for his alleged corruption in the examinations where brilliant candidates were deprived and thoese who bribed him got selection in the ACS, APS and allied services.
During the discussion at the Raj Bhawan led by Gogoi, the five member team of the KMSS handed over to the governor some evidence to substantiate the allegations of corruption that spoiled the entire organization.
Acharya who invited Gogoi over a cup of tea assured Gogoi of steps to look into the allegations.
