Rainwaters wreak havoc in Guwahati

A one hour long heavy downfall wreaks havoc in Guwahati with massive waterlogging disrupting normal life in many areas on Friday.

The heavy downfall began at 5 in the evening which lasted till 7 in the evening leaving many place to be submerged in rain waters.

The worst hit areas are GS Road where normal traffic movement came to a grinding halt from 7.

Chanmari, Ganeshguri, Rajgarh along with many other areas in the city remained submerged for several hours.

The massive waterlogging resulted in huge traffic snarl where the vehicles found it quit difficult to get out of the blues.
