Opposition members in BTAD administration carried out protest against arbitrary decision while formation of chairman of TCLCC and VCDC in the council today in Kokrajhar.
Thousands of supporters from PCDR, BJP, AIUDF along with 19 MCLAs of oppositions took part in the rally that started from Paula baba mandir along the NDFB-S Road via fly over to DC office and submitted memorandum to Governor through Kokrajhar Deputy Commissioner demanding early scrap of the illegally constituted TCLCC and VCDC in the council.
The ralliest shouted slogans with banner, festoone and placards demanding scrap of constituted committees of TCLCC and VCDC and involved the elected members of oppositions in the council.
The oppositions warns vigorous democratic movement if their demands are not meet immediately.
Mentioned be made that the BPF administration in council commissioned the TCLCC and VCDC in all 40 constituencies of the region without involving opposition members recently.
