Doubts over army strike

The claim of an intensified counter insurgency operation inside the Myanmar territories seems to have raised doubt when the neighbourng country denied such strike to flush out any rebel outfit on it soil.

Myanmar made it clear that the authorities have no knowledge of any counter insurgency operation inside their territories. The neighbouring said that they have nothing to do if the military strike is taking place along the international border.

The denial came to light hours after the insurgent outfits denied any army strike. ULFA (I) chief Paresh Baruah told a section of media over telephone that no insurgent died in the military strike along the border.
