Fear psychosis grips the people of Chandel district three days after 18 army jawans died at a gory attack by the militants.
Accompanied by a group of loal leaders MLA visited spot and assessed the situation. He asked the people not to get panicky.
He said that the incident is likely to nullify the decade od demand for with drawal of AFSPA. Top ranked army, police and civil officials have been monitoring the situation. Local residents in the area are still confined to their homes fearing army excess.
