Bora to lead AGP in polls

The Asom Gana Parishad will contest the next assembly polls under the leadership of Atul BoraBora got green signal from the party’s highest policy making body which mety in Dispur on Monday. 

Talking to Assam Times after the meeting party leaders said they will  are confident that they would be able to take on both Congress and BJP.

“We are confident of victory. We won’t allow Congress to retain Dispur and in the same breath we would prevent BJP from taking the reains in Dispur,” said the leaders.    


Former chief minister and founder president Prafulla Kumar Mahanta, former president Brindabon Goswami were prominent among those who attended the crucial meeting on Monday.
