Sea of humanity in Dudhnoi

Dudhnoi town breaks into a sea of humanity as the All Assam Students Union is holding its 16th convention from Tuesday.

Talking to Assam Times, AASU organizers said that over 5000 delegates from different places of the state are attending the event which is ending on Thursday.

Local residents of all walks of life are helping the state’s most influential students body hold the convention smoothly. From food to lodging of the delegates, the local residents are facilitating AASU to hold the three days convention.

The Book Fair continues to pull huge crowd a day after Asom Sahitya Sabha president Dr Dhubajyoti Bora opened it on Tuesday.

Student leaders from other north eastern states are also attending the convention where Dr Samujjal Bhattacharjee will formally quit the organization.
