Former leader accuses leadership crisis at BPF

Attack continued on BPF chief Hagrama Mohilary, former senior BPF leader (now BJP leader) Malati Rani Narzary salvo BPF president Mohilary and MLA Pramila Rani Brahma that BPF party has ruined due to autocracy rule of Mohilary within party spirit.

Narzary, former president of BPF women wing and ex-member of Policy Making Body(PMB) of the party,who recently joined the BJP after denied ticket from ruling BPF to contest ensuing council election alleged that BPF has been ruined due to autocracy of Mohilary and senior party leader Pramila Rani Brahma as they did not treat the worker,activists specially women in their party organisation.

She said that several party leaders including former MP,MLA,former executive members in BTC eroded party following autocracy system of party chief and leaders ahead of cuncil election slated to be held by April next. She has alleged that party chief never take welfare of the party leaders and women were deprived from all scopes in their party lines.

She told that she is getting party nomination from BJP from Salakati constituency and her majority winning is cent percent clear.She will meet tough contest against sitting BTC executive member and BPF nomination Derhasat Basumatary in the council election.She expressed her confident that BJP would get majority seat and will hold king maker role in the council formation.

A total of 886 students were given away Laptop, Computers under Anundaram Borooah award among first division passed out students of HSLC examination at a function held at Basic Training Centre today in Kokrajhar. The Chirang  district election officer has decided to organise a special enrollment weekend camps as a part of continuous updation of electoral roll.
