Governor’s bihu greetings

Bhugali bihu begins on Wednesday. Governor PB Acharya on Tuesday wished the people a very Happy Bhogali or Magh Bihu. In a statement received here on Tuesday, the Governor said the Bihus are the most important festival of the people while Bhogali Bihu or Magh Bihu was a festival of feasting and merry making, in a statement. He appealed to all citizens of the state to celebrate the festival in the spirit of unity, amity and brotherhood.
