The Kokrajhar district administration has set up peace committees to ensure unity among the various tribes and community in the aftermath of the Adivasicarnage.
The Bodo and Adivasi peoples held peace meetings Serfanguri and Athiabari in the presence district administration officials.
Serfanguri Relief camp was formed with Mantu Rawani as president and Ranen Mashahary as secretary along with seven members both from Bodo and Adivasi peoples.
The peace committee at Athiabari Forest office relief camp was formed with Mantu Minz as president and Purna Mushahary as secretary.
Principal Secretary Rajib Kumar Bora and Kokrajhar DC ThaneswarMalakar visited Pakriguri, Serfanguri and Patgaon relief camps to take stock of the relief works and shared about providing materials to the inmates.
