India ‘fails’ to achieve development

India is not prepared to go for a sea change on all fronts. The country has yet to fully achieve its desired goals. This was what eminent journalist John Elliot said when he held an exclusive conversation with Mark Tully on the second day of the Guwahati Li Fest on Sunday.

Former BBC Mark Tully contradicted Elliot saying that the country was progressing on the vital fronts. He talked of the country’s election process which has undergone a huge change at the instance of the Election Commission.
