A huge group of 850 Delhi University students is arriving in Guwahati on Saturday to discover the north east afresh.
The students will be divided into nine groups to leave for different destinations across the north eastern region on Saturday to leave back for New Delhi on December 27.
Sources told Assam Times in Guwahati that under IRCTC, the students will Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.
Union minister of state for home Kiren Rijiju flagged off the Gyanodoy Express carrying the students and teachers of Delhi University at Safdarjung railway station on Thursday.
