Sun TV Network Ltd has launchedlaunched an FM Radio Station in Guwahati under the brand 'S FM' through its subsidiary South Asia FM Ltd. The FM station is starting its operations on Tuesday at 93.5 MHz frequency in the city which aims at catering to all audience.
According to the country's second largest television network, it hold licences for 45 FM Radio Stations across the country. With the launch of this FM Station, the total operational FM Stations of Sun TV has reached 29.
Notably, it has FM Stations at Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirunelveli, Visakhapatnam, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Indore, Vijayawada, Varanasi, Tiruchy, Rajahmundry, Kanpur, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, Mangalore, Kannur, Allahabad, Jabalpur and Mysore. Jaipur, Bhubaneswar, Tirupati, Madurai, Tuticorin, Lucknow, Bhopal, Pondicherry, Kozhikode (Calicut).

One stray rhino of Kaziranga National Park killed a woman Subheswari Ghatowar of Rajabari recently at her residence. Later the rhino was taken back to the park. Another two rhinos of KNP are presently taking shelter in Rohita Chapari of Dergaon. The Forest Department, on the other hand are strictly following the rhinos for protection. The United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) on Monday has made it clear that none of its top leaders have been using the soil of Bangladesh as its base. In a statement ULFA president Arabinda Rajkhowa said it’s a conspiracy to malign their image. Rajkhowa said there is no question of using the soil of Bangladesh while they are continuing the struggle for an end to the colonial rule of new Delhi. He alleged that the government has ignored any steps for a dignified political settlement of the conflict.He further alleged that the government has been blaming it all on the ULFA after successfully making a series of explosions in public place.
