BNC convention from Jan 3

The Bodo National Conference (BNC), an umbrella of various organisations has decided to hold its annual convention on January 3 and 4 next year in Kokrajhar.

Speaking the Reporters today at PWD Guest House in Kokrajhar, Anjali Daimary, secretary of the conference  said that the annual convention will be held with two-day colourful programme scheduled.

The BNC also condemned the killing,kidnapping and extortion in BTAD region and demanded strong action against prevailing situation from the government.

Daimary also said that a five to six delegation team from BNC under the leadership of former Assam Minister and MLA Chandan Brahma will meet  the NDFB founder chairman Ranjan Daimary(DR Nabla) within this month and talk on peace process for creating ways for permanent solution on the issues.
