NE MPs to meet on Dec 19

The Centre has convened a crucial meeting of the north east MPs on December 19. Convened by Union Minister of State for Development of North Eastern Region Dr Jitendra Singh in New Delhi, the meeting is expected to be attended by 39 MPs from the region.

Dr Singh said has already sent individual letters to the MPs saying that he was looking forward to seek the cooperation and inputs from the MPs from the region for a smooth functioning of the DoNER Ministry. He also requested the MPs to submit their preferences and priorities for the ongoing as well as prospective projects in the region.
