Delhi Dynamo down NE United in ISL

 

Delhi Dynamo beat North East United FC by 2-0 goals in the crucial ISL match at the packed Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati on Monday.  Details awaited.    

Earlier, the

Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Sarusajai turns into a sea of humanity a few hours ahead of the ISL match where North East United FC is taking on Delhi Dynamo on Monday.

The match began at 7 in the evening which was an uphill task in the must-win match for both the sides to qualify for the semifinals. The visitors played nine matches. But  have won just one.

Delhi Dynamo are facing a daunting task to tame the home team in front of their overwhelming home crowd at the Indira Gandhi Stadium. NorthEast United FC have played 9 matches to get 10 points----just above Delhi. Monday’s victory will see them move ahead of three teams in the league table.
