Prestigious national award for Akhil Gogoi

Noted young social worker Akhil Gogoi has been nominated for the coveted Second National Manjunath Swanmugam Integrity Award for his relentless work for transparency in public life and government functionings. Instituted by a trust of the former Indian Institute of Management with the Indian Express, the award carries a cash Rs 1 lakh and a citation. Mr Gogoi will receive the award on Friday at a function in New Delhi.
