Flood toll goes up to 38

The flood toll has gone up to 38 with the recovery of two more bodies on Friday twelve hours after four bodies were recovered in Goalpara.

Both the bodies were fished out on Friday one each in Goalpara and Kamrup(rural). 

NDRF and SDRF have recovered two more bodies in Krishnai and Kukurkata areas of the worst-hit Goalpara district. This is apart from the recovery of one body each from Tinsukia district and Guwahati which falls in Kamrup Metro district.

Official sources confirmed that 36 people lost their lives and that the toll is likely to go up.
