Heroic welcome to Daimary
Kokrajhar is all set to welcome Ranjan Daimary on Sunday. The function will take place DNH High school ground in Kokrajhar where the NDFB leader would be publicly felicitated.
Organised by Bodo Peoples Committee for Peace Initiative, the meeting is expected to pull huge crowd.
The organiser told Assam Times that main ceremony will take place at 1 in the afternoon.
An intellectual meet is also be organised on the day after public meeting at Commerce College auditorium hall where Daimary will interact with intellectuals.

The Mwihur International Theatre Festival has ended in Kokrajhar, Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).
The seven-day festival took place at the Bodofa Cultural Complex, Chandamari. Thirteen plays were performed by renowned artists from around the world, in various languages including Bodo, Assamese, Nepali, Hindi, Sinhala, and Malayalam. The festival was organized by the Lwrgi Theatre Group and supported by the BTR government.

Security forces apprehend a NDFB(S) cadre from Basabil area under Gossaigaon PS on Sunday in Kokrajhar district.
