Centre wants land deal with B’desh

Now its turn for the Narendra Modi government to push the land boundary pact with Bangladesh much to the major embarrassment for the state BJP leadership. According to sources available with Assam Times, the Centre is holing both formal and informal political talks on the land deal with Bangladesh. The NDA Government at the Centre is prepared topress for the passage of the Constitution Amendment Bill in the winter session of Parliament. After being introduced in the Rajya Sabha, the Bill is pending with the Standing Committee. Notably, BJP along with other parties in Assam have been holding protest against the pact. The BJP leaders assured the people that they won’t allow the pact to be implemented. /
