Efforts are on to fish out the bodies of three members of a family in Tezpur who jumped into the Brahmaputra failing to repay the debt on Tuesday. The bizarre incident that sends shockwaves across the state took place on Tuesday night where four members of the debt tapped family jumped into the mighty river. But the real picture came to light on Wednesday. Only a body has been fished out while the three others were believed to have been washed away. The mother survived. But her husband, son and pregnant daughter-in-law met watery grave. According to the local residents, the family took huge sum money from private money lenders. But they have been receiving threats for failing to repay the amount.
