Flash flood waves claimed the life of yet another person with hardly any sign of let up during the last 24 hours. The tragic incident took place in at Mayong circle in Morigaon district on Monday. On the other hand, the flood situation still remains critical on Tuesday with more and more areas coming under the surging flood waters as 950 villages remained under water affecting nearly twelve lakh people. As of now, a total of 31 revenue circles of 12 districts across the state are under the waters. Meanwhile, carcass of three hog deer were recovered in Kaziranga National Park that might have died due to the flood. The affected 12 districts are Barpeta, Bongaigaon, Dhemaji, Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Lakhimpur, Morigaon, Kamrup, Nagaon, Sivasagar, Golaghat and Tinsukia. ./
