The Assam government has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 8 lakh each to the families of persons killed in the Assam-Nagaland border violence.
Those injured in the miscreantattack would get Rs 50,000 each. Apart from it, the government will also give a grant of Rs 50,000 to every family, whose houses were burnt. A survey is underway on the number of houses.
