A stunning revelation seems to have created no less flutter in the crisis hit Congress legislature party one and a half years ahead of the Assembly polls.
According to sources, apart from spreading dissidence within the Congress legislative body, four ruling party legislators are allegedly working or BJP.
These four MLAs from upper Assam----the close associates of Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, have been working at the instance a top BJP leader who wants mid term poll at an earlier date.
The BJP topgun is believed to have assured them of party tickets if a mid term election warrants.
According to allegations, the four MLAs were campaigning against the party candidates at the instance of a powerful dissident minister.
Earlier, they were believed to have joined the Sarma camp to dislodge Tarun Gogoi. But sources have confirmed that they have been trying to help Dr Sarma to dismiss the government which the outgoing cabinet minister does not want.
