Four kidnapped traders killed

Four local traders from Sorhog were believed to have been killed after suspected NDFB(S) militants kidnapped at gunpoint in Baksa district on Friday.  

Security forces are desperately conducting an operation in search of the bodies of the four traders who were kidnapped from Labdangpara areas in the evening.

Combing operation is spreading beyond the BTAD district where the incident took place in the evening. But there is no trace of the missing businessmen who dealt in lemon.

Identified as Bakar Ali (13), Saddam Ali (13), Ataur Rahman (27) and Rahul Amin (45),the local traders, hailing from Sarbhog area, were believed to have been killed after they were kidnapped.

According to information, the incident took place when seven lemon traders were on their way to their homes in Sarbhog.

A group of armed militants forcibly lifted four of them where three others managed to flee from the spot.
