Paralyzing bandh in Karbi Anglong

Normal life seems to have come to a grinding halt morning following the 96 hour Karbi Anglong bandh which came into force from Saturday.

Vehicles are off from the streets, schools and colleges, shops and markets in most of the areas in the hills district are remaining closed under the impact of the KPLT-sponsored bandh in protest against the recent encounter.

Security forces shot dead the outfit’s commander in chief along with 6 others at the Singhason hillls.
