The Akrirul rescue operation is over. But the entire drama had a tragic end. Doctors at the GMCH said that the 2 year old boy was brought dead.

The body was retrieved 8 hours after he fell into a boring pipe in Guwahati on Saturday afternoon.

An army team of Rangia has rescued the boy to be immediately rushed to the GMCH for treatment. But only to be declared brought dead.

He fell into the 27 feet deep boring pipe which was cut before he was retrieved by the army team.

The pipe was installed by an engineer three years back. But it was abandoned later due to unavailability of water.
