Dr MMS is the MP from Assam and he should take the moral responsibilty for the violence. The UPA and state government who had been ruling for the last 10 years must be blamed for such butchery. But Congress sees only shadow of Modi on anything. The Congress leaders leaders who used to revel in the luxury and comforts in Delhi offices were always apathetic towards the violence in Kashmir and Punjab during the 1970's and 1980's. The secular leaders were more philosohical and much less practical in understanding the problems of people in all parts of the country. There was similar violence in 2012 in NE. Then the government should have take precautionary measures to avert the occurance of similar incidents. When there is NO capable ruler or leader at the centre, the state governments will also follow the anarchy. "Yatha Raja Thatha Praja" means "AS THE RULER SO THE RULED". If the king of the country is of good character, with good heart and always thinking of well-being of his subjects, and if he is a spiritual thinker and peaceful minded, his subjects will be like him in all these ways too

GUWAHATI: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said that he has urged the Centre to allow the state to continue the lock down by 2 more weeks. Addressing a press conference in Guwahati on Friday, Sonowal said that many areas in the state are still vulnerable. He further said that the extended lockdown period would help them contain the possible outbreak of more such cases following the arival of thousands of people who were remaining stranded outside the state. Kokrajhar: Assam Governor Jagdish Mukhi has dissolved the Bodoland Territorial Council on Monday following the expiry of its term amid speculations of a widening gap between BJP and BPF.
Raj Bhawan issued the notification in the evening declining BPF's prayer for an extension following the COVID19 menace that forced the authority to countermand the council polls slated for April 4.
BJP president Ranjit Das on Sunday said that BTAD should come under the governor's rule as soon as the term of the BPF council expires.
But BPF MP Biswajeet Daimary said that the council has constitutional provision to get the extension. But that has not happened.
