More miscreants waiting to sneak!

A major incident of encroachment by Naga miscreants awaits Karbi Anglong bordering Nagaland. The situation along the Assam-Nagaland is likely to erupt in violence at any moment.

According to reliable police sources, over 200 Naga miscreants are camping at a tiny village in the outskirt of Dimapur town. Backed by the NSCN militants, the armed miscreants have been waiting to sneak in to a number of villagers in Karbi Anglong district.

Some of them have been trying to encroach upon the forest land beyond their border. But they have not been able to do it because of tight security arrangement along the inter state border because of the Lok Sabha polls. Top ranked police officials are believed to have got wind of the development and have put the security forces on maximum alert to firmly deal with the miscreants. The authorities are ready to deploy more security forces if the situation worsens.

Notably, police alertness have aborted several encroachment attempts by the Naga miscreants on many occasions during the last couple of months.
