Chirang police have arrested altogether 14 youths in connection with rape and murder of a Bodo girl on Saturday.
According to information, the survivor herself identified four of them who picked up the girl from the river where they were fishing in the morning.
Police interrogation is going on to extract more and more confession that can help them get more clues.
The incident took place at Boldi gaon near Amguri along the Indo-Bhutan border where around 7 miscreants picked up a girl to be raped and murdered in a nearby jungle.
Another girl, however, managed to survive who is giving vital clues to the police officials probing the sensational case.
Hours after the victim’s body was found by the local residents when the survivor informed the family members and local residents.
