Impasse on Padma Hazarika continues

AGP is holding a brainstorming meet in Guwahati on Saturday to arrive at a consensus on the withdrawal of suspension on Padma Hazarika.

But the meeting will have hardly any outcome as the Sootea MLA and his supporters are conspicuous by their absence in the meeting.

Acting on the advice of a circle of senior leaders to withdraw the suspension order, the party invited Hazarika to take a decision. But his absence seems to have forced the leadership to stall the process.
