Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi is confident that his party will retain power in Delhi the in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
Addressing a huge poll rally at Chaulkhuwa in Dibrugarh on Thursday, Gandhi said that the people will vote the Congress in view of the notable performance during the last ten years.
He said that the party has done a lot for the poor lot and that these people have reasons to feel proud of the UPA government.
“Assam’s condition was horrible before Tarun Gogoiji took over as the Assam Chief Minister. But now the state looks different during the last one decade,” said the Congress vice president when the was addressing the rally to campaign for Pawan Singh Ghatowar who is contesting from Dibrugarh.
