A BPF party secretary of Bambrabil primary committee, Mozibur Rahman was shot dead this evening by unidentified armed miscreants at Bhurisatam under Gossaigaon police station in Kokrajhar.
According to source, Rahman was shot at by two armed miscreants came on a bike while he was on way his home from Gossaigaon town and received bullets injuries on his back and stomach.He was immediately rushed to Gossaigaon civil hospital, but referred to Kokrajhar RNB civil hospital and succumbed to hospital, said a senior police officer in Kokrajhar.
