2 CRPF jawans injured in encounter

NDFB-S steps up its attack in the run up to the Lok Sabha polls scheduled from April 7.

Two CRPF jawans sustained bullet injury at an encounter with security forces in Udalguri district on Tuesday.

The encounter took place at Majbat in the wee hours a day after the Bodo insurgent outfit called for bandh on March 27 when Rahul Gandhi will hold a poll rally in Tezpur.

The injured have been shifted to the hospital amid heavy gun battle with the Bodo insurgent outfit.
