Trouble for Ranee, Gaurab!

In a major development that can jeopardize the poll prospects of two ruling party candidates, Chatra Mukti Songram Samiti on Saturday has moved the Election Commission alleging false information by two Congress candidates.

Addressing a press conference, CMSS officials disclosed that in her affidavit, Lakhimpur Congress candidate Ranee Narah has not disclosed properties worth crores of rupees before the country’s poll panel.

They further demanded action against Gaurav Gogoi for not disclosing the real assets owned by him.

According to the allegations, in his affidavit, the chief minister’s son who contests from Koliabor constituency has not disclosed the real assets to the tune of crores of rupees. These include a huge amount of money he has invested in a number of companies.
