TB awareness programme held in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR: For increasing the awareness about TB among pregnant mothers and adolescent girls in a meeting, Jon Andalon addressed the citizens and local health workers at Beswargaon and Guwabari Health Centres in Kokrajhar district on Wednesday.

The programme was organized by the National Tuberculosis ( TB) Elimination Programme (NTEP), Kokrajhar.

The programme was attended by District TB control officer, Kokrajhar Dr. Kaushik Das. Dr. Das said that as directed by the Central TB division, National TB Elimination Program (NTEP), Kokrajhar started Jon Andalon program in all over the district. "Jon Andalon" targets the health wellness centers of the district.

Dr. Das has urged the citizens and pregnant mother as well adolescent girls to come forward to eliminate the TB diseases among the society.
