Anti-ragging camp at Udalguri College

An awareness camp on Anti-Ragging Laws was organized by District Legal Service Authorityi at Udalguri College on August 27. Aimed at sensitizing the students on ragging, the organisers appealed for maintaining Udalguri College ragging-free.

Vice Principal of Udalguri College Sukumar Dutta, Mahanta Kr. Brahma, Retired Head Master of Gerua H.E. School attended the event. In his speech Dutta said that ragging creates misunderstanding between the junior and senior students in college. While Brahma stated that ragging is a crime in view to insults, sarcasm, physical and mental torture.
