SC: Publish NRC draft on Dec 31, 2017

^{NEW DELHI: In a major setback from the NDA the Supreme Court on Thursday straightly rejected the Centre's petition seeking extension of the deadline to publish the NRC draft.}

A division bench of the apex court comprising Justice Ranjan Gogoi and Justice F A Nariman said for the last two years the deadline has been extended and therefore, there is no extension is admissible. Details awaited.
