Police custody for Akhil, 5 others

Guwahati police got remand of Akhil Gogoi for four days 12 hours after the KMSS president was arrested on Sunday.

Producing him along with five of his associates in the court of chief judicial magistrate, the police sought ten days remand.

Amid tight security, Gogoi and five others were brought to the court where both sides had their arguments.

Talking to reporters, SSP AP Tiwary said that they have already produced some evidence to substantiate the complaint against the KMSS leader in connection with the self immolation cases.
