Major power cuts awaits Siang

Siang district is bracing up for a major power cuts if the NEEPCO project is allowed to stop functioning within the next 15 days.
In a letter on Monday addressed to the NEEPCO project manager posted in the 3750 MW Siang Upper Stage-II HEP, the Siang Indigenous Farmer’s Forum (SIFF) has asked the authority to close down the office located in Upper Siang District within 15 days.
The organization further threatened to take massive agitation if the office refuses to stop functioning.
